Dream of chase for my life and an elevator?

My dream started running (for my life) from an ex-husband, of more than 25 years ago, he was looking very rough and dirty, grease and oil on his hands. Ther was also another guy chasing me (to take my out). I fought with him, had my foot on his throat. Somehow I got him to backoff - I reasoned with him? people were helping me, I had help in my escape - still running away for my life. At one point I was going down a service elevator with a funeral procession. There was a body in a casket with several sober people. They knew I wasn't there for them, but tht was ok. I got off the elevator with them and they went on. I was then in the elevator going up with people in bright flowering clothing, dresses, I was hiding low to the bottom (on floor) - they knew they were camoflaging my presence. Ex was still looking to find me? Then I walked out of the building and there was fresh air, sun light and I was free. The flight from the pursuit was over. I had a great feeling of everything was now ok!
