I need suggestions for perennial plants with white flowers that attract butterflies. I prefer plants that do not grow taller than about 12 inches. I live in Central Florida on the east coast.

Though you should check with your local independent garden center, I have a few thoughts.
Butterfly Weed (Asclepias) is available in white flowers, and dwarf habits.
Lantana (Lantana) is also a butterfly attractor, again available in white.
Cone Flower, (Echinacea) is good for the task. I know there is a dwarf white variety... 'Kim's Knee High' or 'Kim's White'?
Just a few thoughts from a gardener from the other peninsula state!
